LACQUER DISCS

Many of these speeches were digitized from instantaneous cut discs made out of metal lacquer. While some discs broke down beyond repair due to severe cellulose acid degradation, a generous percentage of these recordings have been digitally restored and are available in the Marr Sound Archives upon request.
